La symbiose entre eux touche aussi les relations complexes qu\u2019ils entretiennent avec les femmes de leur vie. La lutte pour la possession d\u2019un manuscrit rare, le journal du Roi de France, Jean, tombe aux mains des Anglais au XIVe si\u00e8cle, est l\u2019occasion pour l\u2019auteur d\u2019imaginer le journal du monarque exil\u00e9, en contrepoint \u00e0 celui de Meir.
