The father\u2019s excessive love for his adopted daughter and his insistence on the name Sarah brings up many questions. The fact that Sarah also brings to the world a child who does not know his father brings up feelings of guilt, making her quit her search for her roots and dedicate herself completely to her son. Throughout this quest, the author gives us an analytical exploration of distorted relationships and painful conclusions.
